PiLLoW is a complete amateur.
With no idea how to be a dainty fairy the entire learning process confuses her terribly. Armed with a magic wand and a dusty book of spells how will she ever climb the Starry Steps ladder and be the fairy everyone is hoping for.
But help is at hand when PiLLoW meets Tooblie Town twins Otto and Summer.

PERCIVAL STOKER
owner of Plastic Moon Power... grrrrr!
Whilst he’s not an out and out bad guy, Stoker’s lack of foresight and ghastly greed over- rule his judgement. Nothing will deter his gritty determination to bring about the successes and riches he craves. Focused on mass factory fuel figures he cares not that his bulldozers tear through nature leaving woodland animals frightened and homeless and fragile eco- systems are destroyed, let alone his carbon footprint undoing.

FIZZY FARTOO
Fizzy is the owner of “Greedies” the local supermarket. Never a day goes by without a flurry of confidential conversations whispered over the counter. Fizzy thrives off her particular bedside manner for engaging with customers for a heart-to-heart only to gossip behind their backs the moment they’ve left. Sneaky and selfish she befriends everyone just in case they come in handy… but she actually likes no-one! Oh, except Doctor Loopy. And who wouldn’t? Nothing pleases Fizzy more than the ping of her till and the thrill of charging high prices. Big fan of fake tan and anything gold, she truly believes she is the most desirable lady in town. Hmmmm…. !

DOCTOR LOOP
LOOP combines his charismatic charm and animal expertise to fumble his way around both professions. The only Doctor and Vet in Tooblie Town he occasionally prescribes the correct medicine. The rest is smoke and mirrors. “Almost is okay!” he blusters with a sparkling smile to trusting patients who are known to have peculiar animal side affects whilst their pets are equally confused. Young, debonair and good-looking, Loop’s smooth skill set never lets him down.

BLABLA
Always open to discuss anything, this serene and generous teacher conducts an open-plan approach to education using role play, story-telling and the laws of nature to stimulate children’s imagination. Doesn’t that sound like fun?
Strict but firm, she is greatly respected yet approachable. Brought up in the forests by a family of snow wolves she takes her classes outside accompanied by cheeky Zin, her rescue pet monkey. Rumour has it (spread by jealous Fizzy) that BlaBla must be a wood sprite or even a white witch! Of course that’s not true. BlaBla welcomes Pillow into her class and enjoys teaching her about Tooblie Town.

MISS MARCH
For a long time Miss March carried the worst fairy-on-the-planet track record. Older and wiser and wonkier than before and Fairy Fogmother to children across the world she’s now in charge of supervising Pillow’s journey up the Starry Steps Ladder. But observing so much of her former self in Pillow’s uselessness from the safety of her Castle in the Mist, she also fears her clumsy novice may never achieve her goals … unless something short of a miracle occurs. Quietly amused by Pillow’s endeavours Miss March wistfully wishes she could do it all again. Because after all it was such great fun!
Catchphrase “Fairy Up and Fly Right!”
